I just wanted to check something - sorry if this seems rudimentary to you.
Attachments which relate to 1-handed defences such as 1-handed counter attack etc. Are they based in relation to this is a defence to protect you against 1-handed attackers, or is this a counter attack etc. which only works if you have 1-handed skills?
If it is the latter, does this cover all attachments? Ie. if it mentions 1-handed at all then it means that it is only for use with people who have 1-handed skills?
Thanks

It means that it will only work for people weilding a 1-handed weapon. But none of them work. As far as I know the only skill attatchments that work for fencer are the "+X dodge", "+X 1-handed weapons speed", and "+X 1-handed weapons accuracy". Basicly if it states a mod in the skill tree then it will work. But if the mod isn't in the skill tree it is useless.

If you have for example a prenerfed ubese bandolier that has all sockets filled.
Lets say:
General Melee Speed 15
General Melee Accuracy 15
General Ranged Speed 15
General Ranged Accuracy 15.
is it possible to pull a +25 General Melee Speed Attachment on that item and make it cancel tho old one so you have:
General Melee Speed 25
General Melee Accuracy 15
General Ranged Speed 15
General Ranged Accuracy 15.
Ive never tested that. hope someone has and can tell me.

Might want to test it. But generally to cancel a mod you still need a free socket. So even though you will only get the benafit's of one attachment, two sockets will be taken up.
So I think you are out of luck with that.

ive heard that in the CU, overwriting a socket doesnt take up another socket, but you might need an empty socket so that the SEA is attachable in the first place.
I say try it, either the attachment attaches and you get your increased mod, or it wont let you attach it at all and you still have your SEA
