Thread: Best fencer weapon?

Hi! Im now on my road to fencer
Im currently at One-Handed 1, in Brawler
But I wonder what weapon to use??
I currently got this curved sword:
1.4 76-173!
Is there any good weapons i should pick or use instead????

Thats a good newb weapon. I would say as u get higher dont focus on the speed so much. Keep that weapon until u get fencer i would say.

Then should I keep using Curved Sword, for Kintic situations, or get something else?
Maybe it's just me, but mine servers Stun Betons don't look very impressive, Stat wise!
Maybe change to Ryyk Blade, or Vibro Blade?
I like the Curved sword! It's very cool... Like a big knife or something
Im an old heavy Swordsman, so I am used to the bigger 2Handed curved sword

Stick with your curved sword for now, when I got to my first speed bonus level on fencer I went for a gaffi stick.
I love stun batons: great for pvp and for when something has a high kinetic resist.
I had a low ham vibro blade for spamming specials also but I wouldnt use it as your main weapon.

I just became a fencer recently and have been incredibly surprised to find out that the best weapons I can find aren't swords... I'm just missing something, right? I mean, hell, I would assume the the best weapon for a fencer would be a sword... right? So please, tell me I am just missing something, because if the best damn weapon I can get is a gaffi stick, I swear I am gonna go nuts...

Call the looney bin, cause your gonna go nuts. The really sad thing is if you want a good Stun Baton you have to camp the Geo Cave to get those stupid bones! I swear the devs come up with the dummest ideas for creating good weapons.

The best weapons are:
1: for normal NPC fighting Gaffi Stick.
2: PVP Good Stun Baton made with Acklay Bones
3: high endNPC's with Armor,Vibro blade unless vulnerable to Stun.

All we can do is pray for the devs to grant us one high minimum damage sword. My personal favorite is the Ryyk blade for looks, its just an amazing and fearsome looking weapon. The curved sword isn't bad, but I'd prefer if it was the same size/shape as the 2handed curved sword, but just wielded 1handed.

I'll expect a flame for this but surely the best weapon for anything with AR1 or over is a Vibro Blade? I've ran some numbers on REm's calc and it seems that although the Vibro loses out to the Gaffi on any MOB with AR0 as soon as yer fighting anything with AR1 the numbers more than balance out?

acid sword is the best quest reward weapon available for fencer (314 base DPS)
BUT, on my server at least, stun batons are the best weapons, coming from exceptional crafters, of course
ive seen a 389 base DPS stun baton on valcyn, and there are probably better stun batons, too
