This threadis for discussing templates that are designed/work specificlly for PvE. For help on creating a specific type of fencer template (IE: Fencer + TKA) use the other threads. For discussing templates that you find work very well in PvE post em here

Fencer FOTM Template of Master Fencer, TKA 0400, Swords 0034, Doc 4004.
I like this template because:
#1 Fencer weapons are some of the best, good stun batons can have really low SAC (Special action cost) The looted weapons from Kashyyyk are better than most hammers.
#2 Fencer has some good attacks, it's the only melee profession with a snare (crippling strike) and the binding strike acts as a action regen debuff which is very healpful. Body hit is one of you hard hitting specials and scatter hit is good aginst people wearing the arms. If you are hit in a body part with lower armour resist your whole armour resist is lowered to that part. Bleed and lunge are currently not worth the tool bar slot. (basicly with some swordsman you are a master light sabers)
#3 Swords you are getting armour break and critical strike from swordsman. Armour break reduces armour rate drasticaly unless there armour has an AB protection slice, like my own has which reduces AD upt o 75%. Critical strike and normal head hit are my main heavy hitters. I'm getting around 1.2k damage with them PvP with some of my weapons.
#4 TKA you are getting COB which is a must for a melee template adds +500 to defence and means oppenants will miss more and damage done is reduced. Also got advance leg sweep which is a very successful KD. (You are now a master defender)
Doc the healing line is a must IMO stims are all well and good but improved shot and jab keep me in the fight and make me heal better than a Jedi healer 4000. I like having the buff line in doctor to keep me self sufficant. If you'd ratther put that in more swords for another heavy hitter that would work.

I don't PvE much but I've used this template in base take downs. I go in first becuase everyone know's I can tank. 3 or 4 cl92 can be tanked with easy if you keep CoB and manage damage with heals and stims.
I've tanked cl101 in the form of Deker (padiwan opening quest), did this for quite a while, while the other members took out the crystals then came to help me.
Damage, I'm tending to use the stun baton with low sac, takes a bit longer to kill things and you don't see the big numbers above the head but you are constantly doing specials with the low sac. You don't seem to do as much damage as ranged professions.
You can buff yourself when you like so don't have to relie much on food.
I don't PvE much but when I do I have no problem using this template to tackle whatever I'm doing in a group or solo.
