Thread: Dual Fencing?

Is it true that fencers are to get dual wielding capabilities aftere JTLS . That would be nice and look pretty cool. If this were to happen then i think there should be a new tree added to fencer to use two swords or weapons.
of course if we were to get this skill then jedi will be all over it as well (that is if they arent able to do it already im not sure)
post ur ideas on this topic or if u have heard anyhting about this ever happening

haven't heard anything after they said they were giving pistoleers and fencers dual wield.

they really said they were gonna do that. i just saw it on the forum and wasnt sure it was true

Duel Wield sounds pretty neat, im guessing we will get some new special attacks to go along with it. Iam wondering what the skill tree will look like though (if they change it) maybe we will get one similar to Jedi, and have a 2nd layer of trees, or maybe a 5th one for Two~One-Handed Weapon skills. Just thoughts though.

i'm all for it, maybe like shortsword dagger type style common in the forgotten realms type things, but jedi don't need anything else, i think 3 different styles for one proffesion si enough since the rest of us have ummm 1

As much as i hate to say it, the jedi kinda need the 3 weapons, how ever they should only be able to use one kind, like Novice brawler the little droid asks (What would you like to start with. Knife, Axe, Pike) [for jedi it should be similar but they are STUCK with what ever weapon they pick, wether it be Light Staff, Single Handed Saber, or Two Handed Saber]

A new tree would be nice, but I'm afraid that it would likely be a long time after CB and GCW in comeing.
Personally I would very much like to see a Jedi type Skill availibilty for all professions, where they specialize in various things.
Fencers could then specialize in Dual Wield, or Sword, or Blunt.
Cause personally I like templates to a degree, but I think the availibilty to specialize would be a great aspect.

Im thinking that Dual Weinding is gonna be a whole seperate profession. With trees for fencers and and trees for pistoleers. No defencive bonuses or anything(maybe, maybe not), justnew special attacks / certifications for dual wielding etc.

at least we know it's comming, i feel really sorry for the smugglers and their revamp it jsut keeps getting booted backwards. but i like the idea of the dual wield, bladed and blunts. i'd assume that in dual wield you'd probably have dual balde, dual blunt, and maybe at high level blade/blunt *shrugs*

Maybe fencers will be able to do damage with dual..that would be swell
