Thread: Fencer Template Caps?

Hello,


I'm new to swg. Do certain attributes cap? I was building this template and was wondering if it would work or do some skills cap at 100?


Master Brawler

Master Fencer

Pikeman 0040

TKA 1300

Swordman 3000

Marksman 0400

Pistoleer 0040


That leaves you with 0 points and these skills:


One-handed accuracy: 175

One-handed speed: 95


One-handed CoB: 115

Melee Def: 101

Range Def: 86

Dodge: 115


Defence Vs. . . .

Blind: 110

Dizzy: 125

Intimidate: 40

Knockdown: 140

Posture Change: 120

Stun: 95


Obviously I'm using the fencer line for my attacks, also have some meditate.

Heh,

Does some medic skill help a lot or is it more of a down time skill? Could always have a medic in tow . . .
Would picking up some medic skill be worth the loss in state defences?

I would reconsider it with at least novice medic, makes a lot of difference, or xx4x medic for stim D's, but i'm personally only novice with +25 injury shirt and it works well enough i guess

you're right except with speed

it doesn't cap at 125, it caps always at 100, but often (read: always) it caps even sooner, it depends on your weapon speed and the delay of the special

the basic rule of thumb from what i've heard is that defensive skills (melee, ranged, state defenses) cap at 125, while offensive skills (accuracy) don't cap. Dodge and speed cap at 125 I believe.

Blind/Duzzy/Stun/KD/PC caps at 90...waste of skillpoints and lack of damage when going into battle(high pve-mobs/pvp)as a fencer....and the imo more important dodge and melee-def is not capped with this temp. so afaik u should get ready to be owned most of the times...

Use my template and you'll be capped in almost everything and be formidable in pvp and an amazing tank.


TKM - Master Brawler - Master Fencer - Pikeman 3/0/4/0 (if you dont have DOT lances just use 0/0/4/0) - novice medic (of if you drop some of pike, put some in healing speed).
