I have seen lots of threads talking about what to kill, and how to climb the trees, but nothing definative on which weapons to use, other than possible gaffertti or curved sword?? Advice is welcome, flames are not.

k , now how much faster would it be if i didnt do janta's but rather more quenkers or hurtons as they give more xp...

I calculated this, and with footwork 4 you do more dmg with a dmg sliced and spinattack2, with lower then footwork 4, (including footwork 3 where you have spinattack2 already) you should use spinattack1 anyway, and use a speed sliced gaderifi., and the fastest way to get up to footwork 2 is a speedsliced curved sword not a gaderifi yet,

so in short:

novice to footwork 2: speed sliced curved sword and spin attack 1

footwork 2 to footwork 4: speed sliced gaderifi stick and spin attack 1 (even though you have spinattack2 halfway, spinattack 1 is faster and does more DPS if you dont have the speed yet)

the rest of the boxes after footwork 4: DMG sliced gaderifi and spinattack2 (you have enough speed now to do a bit more damage/sec with spin attack 2)
