Thread: Fencer Vs TKA -Grind Priority-

OK .... this is not a templat question so i hope i dont get yelled at for posting this time.
Soon I will have Novice Fencer and I currently have 0001 in TKA. Out of the two Im trying to figure out which one I should take up to master first. should I work them both to master at the same time? What would be more efficent?
Im obviously not going to be PvPing untill I have finished leveling so that is not a factor.

Which one do you enjoy more at the moment? That is the answer. If you find you like doing one more than the other later on you can always switch.

True, but im just wondering if there would be any advantage to going up any pictular tree first.

Really the only thing I can see is the Meditaion Line keeping your down time to a min. I find Fencer to the be class that I level in faster but my playing style may bedifferent from yours.

The one you enjoy the most would be my first answer......But if that is equal, I would think about TKA first since I found it faster to grind, and the meditation line is VERY nice to have. Get your TKA speed up, then do meditation, then finish it out. Then start the better/more fun profesion......Fencer! 
But if you want to do the fun one first, and aren't worried about efficiency, then do fencer. The advantages to doing fencer first would be that you'd have better overall defenses to grind TKA.
note: The above post is biased, as I think fencer is one of the most fun profs out there, so please don't argue with me about which is more fun....this is my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

TKA - not because of the damage or anything, but because it gives you basic defenses, and meditation. And during a long grind, when the wounds start to mount up, Meditaition will clear them up, so the only issue you'll have is BattleFatigue.
Power boost is also nice - Gives you a bonus to all your stats for a short period of time.
Force of Will - Recovery Chance from Incapacitation.

IMNSHO,
I have both profs and I usually fight with TKM instead of MF. Having said that, I would recommend you level both together, using the Meditation and Balance trees from TKA instead of the power and striking trees. The reason for that is, at least in my experience, the damage you kick out from TKA at master level is so intense that once you get there, you might have the tendency to use it more often at the expense of leveling your fencer. So I would recommend you go up the offensive trees in Fencing while you go up the Defensive trees in TKA. Once that's done, get your Fencer defenses and your TKA offenses.

If I were u I would do TKA first. TKA causes mass damage and the meditation benefits are incredible. If u take on some big beasts and get into a spot of trouble when u are crawling up the Fencer ladder u can bust out the VKs and take out the opposition. And in my opinion getting the speed up in TKA first is the most important.
