Hi guys I am an old school master fencer from the games original release before mitigation before powered up weapon cores etc, when it took 2 months to master fencer andI know since then we were asking for dual wielding feature and last I heard this was in discussion and would be implimented after JTLS well that is just around the cornor, has anyone confirmed if that's still the plan or are you doomed with the same stun baton and gaffi stick I was forced to use for 9 months? Cheers

Currently there is no schedualed impliment date on this.

It is a signifigent enough change that it will require developer time that would be better suited to the Combat Revamp/Profession Revamp/GCW Revamps.

If I had to guess, if it ever got put in, it would be after each of those.

If they ever did it I think they would have to have specific weapon sets that were already balanced to be used at the same time. A fencer dual weilding acklay stun bats for example would be way overpowered. I think the only way they could do it is have it count as one single weapon, so basicly a single weapon but with a dual weilded graphic.

I think a lot of people were really pushing for it for purely cosmetic reasons. And I think that's why thedemands for it seem to have to died down over time. I would rather see it done right than not at all, and there is a lot of practicality to Minerunner's stance on the subject.

I've written some long posts on the topic in the past, so I'll leave it at this: if they do it, it shouldn't overpower one-handed fencing to the point that no one does one-handed fencing anymore. It should be just another valid tactical choice that adds to our depth and variety. If you make it too good, but the only penalty is HAM costs-- people will overcompensate with buffs and the core fencing style will be lost.

I would much preffer to see it as an elite tree off of Fencer, one line for Dual Wield moves, One for Shield off hand moves/defense stats, one for Advanced one hand moves, and one line for Accuracy.
