FYII was the one, not one of the three

I was Imperial in bestine when a group of several rebels came charging into the city. Suddenly I found myself in the situation where I was alone on the side of a hillengaged with a battle againsta marksman, a heavy swordsman, and a creature handler (with his creature fighting someone else).

Luckily, I was doing missions and I was wired on Muon gold and lots of good food and drinks.

Immediately I turned around and lunge/dizzy the marksman. As he was knocked out, I lunge/dizzied the heavy swordsman as well. Then I bled both of them and healed myself as I proceeded to knock out the creature handler. As the marksman was getting up I used blind spin (AOE attack plus blindness) and spammed that attack onto all of them until both the marksman and swordsman was dead. The creature handler was then Cho-Suned and I got myself 3 DBs and a good guffaw.

On a side note, it's just as cheesy as any BH, smuggler, or pistoleer. Yay... knockdown.. the oppoent can't do jack squat. -_-

I got really ticked yesterday when I used Lunge Dizzy on a fellow fencer... an Expert BH called me cheap for spamming knockdown. We don't even have knockdown! Spamming dizzy doesn't work either eally, you need to use lunge for it to do any good. And he was a BOUNTY HUNTER, of all people! Makes me sick tha people call us cheap...

It is cheap. Both KD and Lunge/Dizzy. Anything that rendersa personcompletly useless. Kiting is cheap too.

They need to find solutions to all these things.

It's not cheap, for our KD to work you need to 1st land both attacks and even still you are not guaranteed that it will work.

This Is a fencers way..to disable then finish the opponent. You concerned about knockdown...dont cry to the devS- spend some skill points to defend against it.

If cheap is using the skills we have, then ask the CH to stop being cheap and put his pet away. lol

Unfortunately VegitoX... I have all the knockdown defense in the fencer tree and I still get hit by every single knockdown hit people can throw at me. What's the point?

Strategy and tactics should reign in a well balanced game, not single skills that you HAVE TO HAVE in order to succeed and compete.

Thats all? The fencer tree is not the only tree that gives defense against knockdown.

You will only be down for the max of 5 secs anyway ..plus you wont be able to induce a posture change for 30 secs.

Is the move still cheap?

5 secs is not very long.
30 seconds is an eternity when fighting.

Unless im wrong our defense against knock down is good..but what does it matter now..everyone gets up in 5 or less now.

but I guess at leaset someones happy.
