Hey all,
I'm pretty new to fencer and have been playing around with a few acklay stun bats and gaffis.
My question is pretty much this:
Against stackers (with mitigation 3) would we do more damage with a 220-225 stun baton, or one with 200-400? I'm yet to understand how mitigation works and would appreciate any help you can give to help me choose the better weapon.
I've recently had a 280-390ish stun baton and found that against prepared oponents I did negligible damage. Would this be different if I had a baton with a much closer damage range?
Thanks for you help

def. stackers have no room for doc. a simple janta knife will drop a purely def stacked player. but with p and d resist buffs mind fire becomes even better. stick both and they r effed in the a pretty fast. just stick a dot and run away from them lol. grind janta missoins to get u some cash so u can afford a good mind fire weapon, if u dont already have the money. doing only janta missoins could prolly increase your chance of getting multiple janta knives so u wont have to buy those.

Whichever has highest minimum damage, use against other melee players, although for a ranged fighter, go for a max damage weapon.
Urmm.. That's about it really.

Isn't it sad how everyone has to resort to DoT's to win in PvP. Just and observation but, well i think its dumb.

it would be better to use the 200-400 on someone with melee mitigation, the damage range after mitigation will be 200-280, which is better than 220-225

What I say to people I duel that wont agree to a no DoT rule:
"I want to duel YOU, not your weapon."

I've never had much trouble with the DoT's in duels. even when they do use them I can take them down before it has a chance to get me. then again, my favorite sight is when my mind is getting low and they start gloating and i hit Equilibrium.

On the contrary, if you're DOT doesn't do more damage than me per second, I'll win ![]()
The average poison/fire runs at 200ish a tick right? That's every 5-10 seconds? In that same amount of time I can do twice as much damage to your mind, and mine is regenerating. Resorting to DOTs to win is just...lame, lol.
