i saw this from a thread in the GCW forums, this weapon looks awesome for fencer, hopefully its coming up in combat rebalance! YOU GOTTA CHECK THIS OUT

from what i heard, thats either a clientside mod made by a person with a editing program, or its jsut a file that someone found in the .tre files, meaning unless its said by a correspondant dont believe it. doubt it will be in the game

Judging by the "SWGMods" mark on the photo, my guess is that you can have this weapon any time you want to download the appropriate files. Of course, doing this is not guaranteed not to negatively affect your game files.
Most likely the combat rebalance will focus more on the mechanics of combat rather than the aesthetics. I could be wrong, but most of the developments in the past have worked this way (and often do in any professional environment). Once they are sure that the code works, then they'll add some glitter, you know?
