Thread: haha, funny duel!
this guy wanted to duel, master pistoleer, vs me, master one hand swords man at the starport. he runs around shooting at me, all of my ham bars are lower than half, WHAM i used lunge, than dizzy, he falls. there is a crowd around, they start laughing at him, and say "this is pathetic" on dude said i was a cheap imp spamming KD, lol! any way, right before he got inc he endned duel.
About 3 minutes later the ship came and he gives me a tell "why cant i get up?" and i replied "dont try to stand, or else you will fall" he replies "oh, i didnt know that" i replied "i could tell, lol"
So, we arnt that bad, hehe.
Yeah, we suck, i found that out after doing more duels, i kept getting scatter shot, which brings me down to my knee

It got so lame after awhile, im picking up pistol skills now and going to try to get smuggler, so that i can use low blow, whip out my sword dizzy, than hack them to death ![]()
Yes, victory is sweet. However the sad things are facts:
1. KD is about to be nerfed, so bye bye pistol whip, bye bye lunge1 and 2.
2. Riflemen can dizzy and lower your position as well from 65 meters away. (correct me if I am wrong, this belongs to one of them marksmen skills). Once KD and posture changes are balanced, they will begin using this instead.
3. Our class' *only* tactic is using LD. A balanced class does not require only one special move (2 in concert, in this case) to survive. It should require ALL of the skills, AND strategy. Yet, most combat classes have KD or posture changse (and those that have it rely on it exclusively), so we are again at a disadvantage because marksmen have the nigh-invulnerable defense called distance.
So the outcome of all this is that we arestill disgustingly outclassed, and our only saving grace is pretty much a variant of knockdown, which is just as low as pistoleers, smugglers, bounty hunters, what have you.
