I've looted a Gaderiffi Baton that does 91-183 @ 5.8 on Eclipse..

The Hams are 14/27/7 and accuracy is -13 across the board..

Also has mind poison damage, 275 strength, 152s, 10% potency, 7361 uses left..

Just wondering if this is desirable?

Any melee weapon with a poison like that is desireable, even a stone knife can be handy. Use that weapon to poison a creature or person, then quickly switch back to your higher damage weapon and continue with the beatdown. I would love to find something with poison like that. I have a Nightsister Lance that I can actually equip and use but it doesn't have any effects like that. Wish it did.

Well, I'm a pistoleer so it really has no purpose for me. Thanks for the info though.

10% potency is really low, but since the strength is pretty high someone might want it.
