Fencer Archive

Right now there are only 4 fencing weapons, and we really need more.. Im a fencer in RL and never really understood why are class gets batons etc... but anyway

Fencing is about slashing and piercing damage and fancy reflexes, right now imo we dont have enough weapons to choose from and our damage is extremely low. Also we miss out on dualwield, In RL sometimes i fence with a extra short foil in my other hand and its loads of fun plus devasting to your opponent

again anyway

Weapons i would like to see in game (everybody add please)

- Sabre's (like a vibrosabre)
- Foils
- secondary (dualwield) short blades
- multiple variaties of martial arts / kunfu style weapons

I agree. I've been thinking about taking some real-life fencing lessons myself. How long have you been a fencer?

I whole-heartedly agree. Giving us some more options means more diversity - it's kind of boring when all the fencers are running around with curved swords. It'd be great to have a few different blade types that can actually compete with each other, to lend a bit more strategy to the profession.

That's what ALT-TAB is for...

I would like to see more swords and see different kinds of curved swords. Also some rare metals to make stronger curved swords. So that the stats on everyones curved wouldnt be almost identacle.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?! I wasn't aware anyone was able to actually use a curved sword without beating the crap out of their HAM bars I use an advanced gaffi Although, I would REALLY like to see some nice new swords of equal powerfulness as the gaffi, ya know? I mean..I have the title "Blademaster" and yet, I can't use a blade or I kill myself

i say to the devs go rent soul calibur 2 and just "borrow" the moves from them. hell its only the best weapon fighting game out, and if you combine that with the best mmo out that would equal best game out oh and dont dont forget more weapons, maybe even give weapons smiths a color tint option

what devs really need to do is improve diversity period... maybe allow customization to swords like you customize your chara.... and when you use differnt materials they loov differnt... ect.

now that would be coool.....

along with some new weapons of course
