Is there a difference?

Or is the difference just in the length of time the effect lasts....

Ahhhh so - no difference other than you can hit more than one target?

might be a difference in success rate, but it could go either way. just like blind hit, blind spin, and spin 2. all do similar things, but i have no idea how the numbers crunch...

i would imagine dizzy 2 would probably have a smaller success rate, just as a guess.

Same effect on both, only the damage and "single target" vs "AE" is different.

Ok,so I would stop asking questions about moves, I went and bought the prima guide. According to it, dizzy hit2 lasts longer (50 sec vs 30 sec) than dizzy one. Both are listed as having a 100 percent chance success rate. I'm not sure what that means, since obviously, not all effects land 100 percent of the time.

Does anyone know of any updated lists of the Fencer Combat moves?

That happens to be my current project on the Test Center. The Prima Guide is seriously out of date and the data in it is incorrect regarding special moves. I have the data for most of our moves now... just a handful left.

Kali, I've always appreciated your posts. They are profession, well-worded, and specific. I look forward to reading as many as you care to post.

The prima guide doesnt have current info, even the ingame info on the skill-tree is slightly misleading.

Awww thanks Raphael!

I don't plan on leaving anytimes soon (despite having made Master just a bit ago) - I truly love the profession, and keep trying to perfect my technique - I can't wait to see your new evaluation of the specials - that will be a priceless boon to those of us who like to get the most out of our skills!

I've said this before - we are fortunate to have you as our correspondent, and I think it's you who we can thank for the upcoming love we are about to receive!
