This question is geared towards Raph, but if anyone else isin the know... I've mastered the defensive trees of Fencer, TKA, and Pikeman, and I don't seem to notice much of a difference in my Melee Defense, and Ranged Defense over that of say a standard Master Fencer or TKA. Are these stackable in this fashion? Or do they function like One Handed Toughness, or Unarmed Toughness?

Thanks,

Leftik A'kari

From what I understand, if a weapon is mentioned in the description, that skill modifier is only good when that particular weapon is equipped.

General modifiers - ranged defense, defense against dizzy etc, stack.

Leftik,

To best answer your question, are you referring to live servers, or the current TC patch? Currently in live servers, it works just as Kali said:

If the modifier doesn't specify "One-Handed..." then it stacks. However, one live servers the current modifiers are... well... not what one wouldexpect. Unless you stack quite a few of them together, you might not noticed much of a difference in some mods. The current patch on TC addresses this, and will make a tremendous difference.

If the modifier does specify "One-handed..." then it only applies while you have a one-handed weapon in your hand.
