it has been a dream of mine to become Blade Master ever since i saw the awe inspiring title

i am on the long road there as we speak ...err as i...type...i guess...anyways..

i would like to get t he best supoting professions that i can to make my Blade Master truly a master

the group i play with doesnt have a doc nor do i know any so since i have been aquiring med skills, to make the treacherous road to Blade Master a little less treacherous, i decided to expound upon them and become a doctor (0/2/4/0 so i can use the best stims as well as buff myself)

this, coupled with Blade Master will leave me with like 52 skill points ( i think, i cant remember exactly)

which is enough to:

A. get master brawler (and add one more box to doc to make it 0/3/4/0). this will give me lunge2, intimidate2, and warcry2 (with bonuses to intimidate and warcry), and unarmed stun.

-or-

B. i could get pistoleer 0/0/3/0 and the first two unarmed boxes, this will give me some extra state defenses from pistoleer, as well as stopping shot, but, more importantly, i will have two more health bleeds, for a grand total of 4 stacking health bleeds!! and also unarmed stun.

now my question is which do u think will be better?

A or B?

I suggest you learn Org Chem I -IV and Pharm I - IV and just heal urself. If you make good stim B's one use will give you full health again...assuming you have more than 300 HP left (the best stim B i've seen/made does 700 damage heal)

ooh that's a toughy. I hear all kinds of great things about Master Brawler. But i've never had it.

However, don't diss pistoleer. As you mentioned, you'd get Healthshot 2 and 1. Also, you could even toy with the idea of getting the first tree (dodge + bodyshot3). Bodyshot 3 is worthless until it hits the speed cap. But I think pistoleer dodge would stack with fencer dodge. And if dodge ever starts doing anything, that could be a big deal.

Yea i would take master brawler and go 0-4-3-0 in doc. You can use the buffs and rez, and stims will be great at that level. And brawler, is awesome. You can't beat a 20 second delay that you can use every 30 seconds. That's only 10 seconds of them accually attacking and can even be less if you play your cards right. You just can't beat that, and lunge2, 15m kd. Just awesome.

ahh to solo a Krayt! Now that would be something! Can't say as I've dont that yet however I was with a group of 12 yesterday and we killed a Canyon Krayt. First time I've ever seen a Krayt die. I landed Warcry 2 onit twice and delayed it for a total of 40 seconds. I stacked 2 bleeds on it as well. I got incapped but did not get slain. When I got back up, it came for me because I bled it. I hit burst run and let it chase me in circles until it finally died. Then I looted it and got nothing. Then I harvested it for 1 whole piece of hide!!!! Wow! That was so worth all that fighting and the death around me. In the end, 4 out of the 12 of us were left standing, one of those 4 was melee. Gotta love it!

I would say it depends on what you are more interested in doing with your character.

Personally, I find the master brawler skills infinitely more useful in PVE than in PVP. I can't get dizzy and warcry 2 to stick worth beans on players but they will stick almost every time on NPCs and creatures. The lunge 2 however, hehe, it rarely misses anything! Players and beasts alike will fall with lunge 2 but the players get back up because I can never get an effect to stick on them.

I find that incredibly funny, considering I have an easier time making those EXACT same status anomalies stick on players, and not on NPC's. Go figure.

Do just like we did here, Go Master Medic, Master Brawler, and use those skills to supplement your Fencer training. Only 2 skill blocks left until Blademaster, folks at home.

Oh, here's a nice tip, too:

Ever been to Rori? Nice place. Ravenous Tortons are EASILY soloable by Master Brawler/Medic/Fencer hybrids. Each drop about 4-5k xp.

I've never been to Rori or Talus. Getting close to 4 months and I've never been to either place. Heh! Ah well, theres plenty of time for that. Oh... I need to change my sig. I dropped master medic last night to put towards hunting 4 and then CH so I can keep my kitty when the CH nerf comes. Maybe I'll get an even biggerkitty.So many people have told me that I only need Pharm 4 so I dropped the rest. I did keep 2 other medic boxes so I can keep my heal speed up a little but the rest is now gone. The Hunting 4 skills will come in handy because I harvest so much stuff for the artisans in our guild, I can get better results with that now. That's what I like about this game, you can change to suit your needs.

well while there are no Dcotors in my group (i've just made novice doctor) everyone has at least novice medic and can use those really good stim B's, and we do have a another guy that just made novice combat medic (so that means he is aalso a master medic) so we dont really die all that often and when i am able to buff we probably wont die at all (or at least extremely infrequently)

as for my decision...

i have decided to go with option B....for the time being anyways. if i find that im not doing as well as i wuld like then i will consider dropping my pistolness (he he, pistolness) and getting master brawler
