Just looking for someone to confirm this, but I heard the Rantok blade could only be obtained by completing all of Jabba's missions...anyone know if this is true or not?

Yeah it is used as an item for you to deliver. You just keep it instead.

Actually Han was frozen and captured by Boba Fett and was givin to Jabba as a decoration in episode 5, and then got his butt saved by Leia, Lando, and a Jedi, Luke in episode 6, no, we dont have a jedi to recue us, but i know that was just a joke, just wanted to tell u how much of a Star Wars fan(geek) i am.

Well I have confidence that a jedi will save me... thats the only way to get a rantok sword and no, its not worth it to do 20 some missions that dont even pay off. Wait till they fix the bugs, then it might be worth but the blade isnt that great anyway since its not player made.

That has nothing to do with being a star wars geek.. A star wars geek knows what componets are needed to design a lightsaber.. what to do to make the sabre different colors.. Know who Xizor is and what he did.. And know where Han Solos kids fit in with the rest of the Jedi.

Just to name a few.

Personally.. if anyone doesn't know that Han was frozen in Carbonite.. they don't deserve to play this game =)

I think something is being missed here about the Rantok sword. It is a one of a kind and has a history. The history and back ground of the sword and its relationship to star wars is what really makes the sword worth owning. Yes the missions paid nothing until the last one. Which of course you steal the sword from Jabba. The side effect of that is, that from then on becuase you did not complete the mission you will never be able to take a private job from citizens. It always looks like you are working for someone. I have a Rantok. I earned it. It has never been used for combat and will never be used in such a manor. A sword of this immense signifigance inthe story of star wars and Jabba deserves a place of honor above your fire place. Or a museum. Not on the battlefield. It, in its day, was awesome. Not so much anymore becuase technology has moved our swords to a much more powerful place. So if you do get one keep it as a badge of courage and honor. There are better swords for fighting. Let this sword rest its soul in peace.

Wow...and all I asked was "how" and "where" I could find a Rantok..Not only did I get the how and where but the history of the mo fo' too...you guys never cease to amaze me :-)

I'm finally on the last Jabba quest to retrieve the Rantok sword. When Iopen the drumand try totake out the sword I get a message saying "you do not have permission to access rantok". Is it supposed to say that? Is there something I'm missing? I've tried it three times now... This is very frustrating sinceI just finished the Belshu dader quest after trying 10 times and finally getting the converse button to go when he got stuck in a wall... answers!

How do you even get started on these quests? No one can tell me, and I've been stuck with a Ryyk blade forever.
