get a new weapon first off, grab a one handed sword or ryyk or a faster gaffi.... you want speed first while your going up to novice. Once you take care of the speed issue you'll have no problem with quenks or anything else.

Seems to be popular nawadays to do quenks up the footwork tree and then go do the jinda caves out on endor. The humanoids on Dantooine are vuln vs kinetic also so that helps if you want to kill them... mokks and wait jinda's? bah i don't know the evil ewoks from the dantooine natives anymore lol they are both hairy, ugly, and stand on two feet... either way thats what i would recommend. If thats not your cup of tea then i'd get into a group and go do some rancor missions on dath, not only is it nice to beat down those ugly things they give good xp too =]

i still recommend a faster weapon though.

Yep get a new gaffi get it speed sliced(my grinding one was about 2.5) do quenkers on dant until master footwork, I tend to go to dath more then the jinda caves because of the baz nitches they give about 5k xp and 11k per mission(9k ham), just kill all the baz nitches and kamuriths on the way to the missions.

Oh and for novice maybe try torton missions on talus they are easy and give about 3k xp per torton, still though get a speed sliced gaffi

Best way to level up for fencer. Get in a solo group on dantooine. Make sure you are buff with good armor. Get quenker (5k)missions and go up and spin attack the lair. They will try to heal the lair and don't hit you as much while youdo damamge to all of them. You get alot of exp. Then when you are higher...(go up footwork tree first) take on the 10k huurton stalker lairs.

This is what I am doing. I am already aMaster Swordman and going for a Master Fencer to compliment it.

First get a SPEED SLICED weapon and some SPEED POWERUPS to put in it. I suggest a curved sword or ganaffei stick.

Go to Dantooine and join a solo group there. You do not have to stay on Dantooine to enjoy the group bonus.

To get to novice, I went around Corellia killing everything around my player city. The newb stuff sux for xp but molted wrix lairs rock. Each one gives about 1.5K xp but are quick to take down. Got novice in about an hour.

After that, go to DANTOOINE and do regular quencher missions. I know this sux, but it is the best xp for the creature HAMS you will get. Trust me I tried alot of different MOBs but at this level you are still too weak to try harder stuff. It is slow, but when you hit the second FOOTWORK BOX you will notice the speed increase. Still use the speed powerups at this point. Do this until you reach Master Footwork, forget the title.

After that you will have spin attack 2 and things get better. I also used onehand melee hit 2 this whoile time. Tried the scatter hit 1 but di not like it. Just go up the FOOTWORK tree first.

But until you get the speed issue taken care of with the Footwork Boxes, a speed sliced weapon with speed powerups is the key. I am using a speed sliced gandaffei stick with speed powerups and I fly with it. When I get that last footwork box, I am 1/3/0/2 ATM, I am switching to a damage slice one and will decide after I use it if I need a speed powerup. If not, using a damage one.

Hope this helps but I am in the same boat as you and this seems to work best, it does for me at least.

Did most of my leveling on endor, a regular stun bat will rip through those nasty creatures with high kinetic resists, arcanes (wouldnt try it without doctor) and the other ugly things, forget what they're called at the moment.

I seem to have no end of luck
