Well I just thought I would let everyone know that I am not going to apply for the correspondent position. I have my reasons. I know must could care less, but there are some people that wanted me to apply for it.

We should do away with the Correspondant position entirely, what good have the correspondants done for us over the past (how long has it been since Raphayl retired?) six-ish months? Fencer hasn't recieved any improvements or major nerfs to date, in fact we have only either benefitted or been effected by changes to other Professions, but none to our own... The only thing I can think of that might have 'hurt' us, is the Warcry nerf, but that was overpowered anyways 
Correspondants are underappreciated, overworked, and they just do not yield the results the community seems to want (seeing as our Profession will not be recieving any major non-cosmetic changes for some time) it would be better, in my opinion, to just have community leaders try to organize discussions and polls to decide what would be better for the Fencer community, but someone just needs a damn blue name and they suddenly are right, I guess...
In any case, you seemed to be one of the better candidates for this position (I am a forum-lurker, but I have been following some folks attempts to get the position) and it is a shame you decided not to apply.

Well I am sorry to disappoint you, it's just I believe I have too different of oppinions on how I think fencer's should be from what Ibelieve the masses want. I feel that for the benifit of the community it would be better to have someone that thinks the way the masses do. But then again that is just my oppinion. I will still be posting in this forum as often as I have been and help(point at threads in sig.) people along thier way to becoming Master Fencer. I do appriciate your vote of confidence in me though.../bow
