Thread: Status Effects

I'm hoping to get an idea of how powerful various status effects are. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find any documentation on what many of these effects actually do. If anyone can help me out with the precise effects of the status attacks, I'd be grateful.


I'll start with what I know:


Bleed: Damage over time. Can be stopped with First Aid.


Poison: Damage over time. Stacks with bleed, cannot be stopped with First Aid.


The magnitude of these DoT's damage seems to vary significantly according to their source.


Now, if anyone can tell me the game mechanics behind stun, intimidate, dizzy, and blind, I'd appreciate it.

Hover your cursor over the status effect symbol beside your name, or your targets name, and it'll give you a description.

Cool, I hadn't noticed that.


Still, could we collect it all in one place, so I don't have to go out and get every status effect inflicted on me in the name of education?

Poison can be stopped with /cure poison and medpacks as can disease.

Im thinking about changing my template up a bit and was thinking of dropping my current 4004 TKA (current build is master rifles, master swordsm 4004 TKA) and picking up 4400 fencer, I know that gives me a dizzy attack but is there also an attack in fencer that also stuns your target ? I know it would leave me without an attack to blind but would I also be out of a stun attack?

Yes, I believe that will leave you without a stun attack.

Are there any stun attacks in fencer that I could change up the template idea to get ?

Hey all,


No idea if u guys have tested this but are status effects going through lightsaber blocking?

If so that means all the poison/burn weapons are gonna kill us if we neglate our selves to get healing skills; currently commando burn is a pain to deal with and its gonna be more if my Jedi has no healing skills and everytime he gets burned the effect goes through the block. I know i can kite a commando if i had FR2 but if thats not the case? Also theres plenty of fire dot weapons out there that can be used from within 65m.


My other concern is a Cm constanly spamming poisons/diseases from afar, do i have to waste 20 points on that healing line+ 8 pts in novice healer to be able to compete or i can use 20 pts in the resist line from the enhance tree? But i still havent seen any CM in TC2 to actually test this properly because whats the point of wasting skills in that line only to find out that after u used /forceresistpoison + poison resist food, the first Kd/poison sticked and ticked only to have 1k less mind in 5 secs of time.


I know i can use a doctor to cure this but honestly the truth is that whenu are inside a rebel city with 20 rebels that are pissed, because you just took down their turret and they start all clone rushing you spamming poisons/kds and all they can posibly used gainst you;the doctors are gonna die in a blink of an eye leaving you healess. The doctor cant heal his poison/ my poison and deal with 3 riflemen spamming headshot3. So as a fact we need a way to be immune to this with the enhance resist line or else that line is a waste and every1 that wants to be half decent jedi is forced to the healing line, as simple as that.


If any1 has some ideas or answers to this concerns id like to hear them please, because everything looks good exept that we will be suseptible to burns/poisons/diseases and maybe status effects from weapons even if we block them. Notice that u cant burst run while dizzy and if u dont have FR, burst run is your only way out and riflemen/Bhs can dizzy u from long ranges so that negates you an escape route also.
