Will Fencers ever be able to duel wield their weapons?

Yes, Fencers will be able to duel wield at some point.Probably after the Jump to Lightspeed.

Who's idea of a joke is this? Didn't we already know this.... PLEASE tell me Chaser didn't use this weeks question for this and instead the Dev's just picked this up off the forums for at least something to answer? Personally i don't have a problem with the over all intent of the question however the way it was phrased. When dealing with the developers on these questions that are seen by the community the correspondant needs to get it down in a way that doesn't leave much opportunity for the words "soon" "some point" and "probably" those are killers to any form of moral to the majority of the community Though i'm sure some are glad to have that answer, it was already answered in a Stratics IRC chat with the dev's back a few months ago.

From what I can tell, Chaser asked us to submit questions. Most questions were probably going to be covered in the combat rebalance. Several people did ask about dual wielding, even though it already had been addressed as part ofthe Pistoleer question in a previous "19 Answers." I think a lot of people didn't see the question, because people keep asking.

But, let's not forget, it is pretty good news.

True it is good news, perhaps though i missed where Chaser asked us to submit questions and if you could point me to that post i'd be much obliged. The questions many people are having about duel wield is not IF we will get it but how it will work and if it will be purely graphical or will there be functionality that will allow us to have 2 diff weapons equiped such as a stun and a gaffi and if both will work with a special and if new specials will go into place. The when i'm sure was a question however i ASSUME (i know its never good to do that though) that most of us expected it after the expansion or around then.

That's the link. It was almost a month ago, our question was delayed by E3. In that thread, I recommended against the dual wielding question, but I bet Chaser gave them a number of questions and they just chose the easiest one to answer.

I agree, post-JTL seemed pretty obvious, though a couple weeks ago a number of different posts were still asking if we would get it, even though some of us were already talking about how dual-wield might work in concurrent threads.

Perhaps we could start another thread jumping off TH's response. We can resume the discussion aboutwhat we might expect from dual-wielding,and keep it bumped so people don't need to ask about it.

... and he didn't even managed to get dual right -_-

But yeah, the fact that he answers a question anyone with some eyes last round of answers knew, is more than a bit annoying.

might have asked if we will get a place in high end pve by either: upping our dmg (not very likely/wanted), or upping or def (best option)

From what I heard on smuggler or pistoleer (not which it was) board TH wanted some fun easy to answer questions this week as they where getting ready for the fan fest and he wouldn't have time for more advanced questions.

Not fun for the professions those turn it was but not much we can do about it.

I'm sure that Fury sent in the top 5 questions that were asked in that thread he posted asking for what questions to submit.

I'm sure that they answered the easiest to answer question.

I'll see you all at the Fan Fest for those who are going.

Though I'll probably only stop in for a few hours each day and head home afterwards.

You'll likely see me smokeing my brains out drinking moutain dew outside wearing a greypage boy cap (aka Irishmans cap).

I'll take notes.
