Thread: Leveling Fencer

Since I've seen many posts on questions on how to level Fencer from start to finish, I made my own little guide, in the hope that it helps new posters to our forum. Remember, this is how I did it, and is NOT a definitive guide.

Boxes 1-4

Tatooine:

  • Go to the outside of Mos Eisley, and kill all the creatures

  • Use a Dagger or a Survival Knife to get to level 1, a Curved Sword until level 2, and then the Curved Sword or a Vibroblade for the rest

  • Use 1-hand Hit 1, 1-hand Body Hit 1, 1-hand Lunge, Warcry 1, and Intimidate 1

If you want to level up, and want to make a few creds along the way, go to these areas:

Naboo:

  • Run Narglatch Cub missions (250-350 XP per kill)

  • Run Nightspider missions (250-350 XP per kill)

  • Best done from Theed, Keran, or a player city

Corellia:

  • Run Vynock missions (150-350 XP per kill)

  • Best done from Coronet, Tyrena, or a player city

Dantooine:

  • Run Lesser Plains Bol missions (250-350 XP per kill)

  • Best done from the Agro Outpost, or a player city

End Part 1 of tutorial...

Part 3

Extra skills to pick up:

Novice Scout: for making Wire Mesh Traps. They reduce the creatures melee defense for a short time.

Novice Medic: to use Stim B's.

Here are the macro I use as well, and thought I'd share them here, and hope they are useful:

CoB

/centerofBeing;

/pause 32;

/macro CoB;

Mix

/intimidate1;

/warcry1;

/pause 30;

/macro Mix;

Battleheal

/healdamage;

/pause 8;

/healdamage;

/pause 8;

To turn off the macro, type /dump

A few pointers:

  • Always throw a WMT at a creature before you attack, to lower its melee defense. Use another trap when you see its melee defense come back up.

  • Keep your Mix and CoB macros running. and if you find yourself running out of mind, pop a Vasarian Brandy, or a Muon Gold.

End of tutorial...

Fencer Experience is best (fastest) when you are starting out on doing the same thing he mentions above.

Unless you are rebel, There is a static base on every server near the mountain base in the Southeast corner of Corellia about 2000m west of the large lake on the right hand side. I can't get in-game otherwise I would tell you the wp.

Anywho

Basically I grinded out Swordsman x 2 Fencer x 2 and TKA x 2 there in about 1 week flat.

The thing that sets the base apart from other mobs is, regardless of skill, they are easier than quenkers to kill. Once you loot the corpses, they spawn instantaneously, and they don't run from you.

This is obviously a drawback to Imperials because the place is being attacked by 3 respawning mobs of Stormtroopers, 2 opposite of eachother and 1 directly out 300m of the front of the base. Where the ATST Spawns.

I grinded out 260k FP for bases and a full private -> colonel rank in a matter of a week.

happy trails.

I know the exact place you're talking about, cause I've used that place several times, myself. But thanks for putting that here. Maybe Minerunner will be kind enough to sticky this, so everyone has a chance to check this out, since these are all good ideas.

I took a quick look at the area didn't found it. Does anybody have a WP for it?

On Coronet, go to 4104 -1256 for the base, and 3966 -1159 for the hill. I use the base to get melee xp, and the hill for ranged.

And thanks to anyone posting their tips here, as well.

There is a listing for the SWG Maps somewhere, If you look on the Correllia map, there is a lil marker that says

Rebels vs. Imperials.

Check it out... Do a forum search for SWG Maps... I am sure it will come up... or if you get the SWG Newsletter, it's listed there as well.

Also in my signature, Unforgiven order, on the Links page there is a link to it.
