I am a relatively new Blademaster and decided to get a little bit more careless in PvP, by trying to stand to more than one opponent at the same time. Today, I went against two commandos, and with my COB, they never managed to hit me. Still, I caught on fire and died rather quickly by the DOT.

Repeated the same exercise couple of times with the same result. They were able to get a maximum of one hit, but I was getting on fire every time. I am aware that the DOT will get me if i am hit, but evade (dodge) the hit, but I think that after going trough my battle logs, I saw that couple of times I went on fire even when the commandos completely missed. Is this supposed to happen or it was just due to lag and improper order of the log messages? Also, does anyone know if the problem of getting different states (DOT, Bleeds, Dizzy, etc.) when we successfully dodge will be resolved in some of the coming publishes.

This is a known issue.

Basically when you dodge, you'll see "bleh does bleh at you for X damage, but you evade" and if it is a DOT attack that X will still apply. There also is a nasty bug that allows you to take the damage but reports it as a evade or a miss.

I first came across this while fighting Tuskens. I have my combat log set to always be visible and monitor it while fighting. Everything seemed fine until I fell over incapped. Upon checking my log, no hit landed but somehow the damage went through (it was not a bleed). Possibly it was a tusken doing "Scatter Shiek" on me which has a tendency to go through the secondary defense mods.

Unfortunately the Devs haven't stated whetherthese areworking as intended or are bugs. So we have no idea ifthey will be fixed and if so, when.
