Thread: Adding another fencer to your ranks
You won't get the title of Novice Fencer. It's broke. The character search option will show Novice Fencer but the character title setting will show Novice Swordsman and that is what you'll disaply as. I've gotten into several arguments with 2-handers about that. They refuse to believe that I couldn't train them. I'm sure it'll be fixed about five minutes after they make it impossible for gunners to shoot through mountains which will be fixed ten minutes after they make it impossible to shoot someone behind them while burst running down that mountain.

Grats, just hit novice fencer myself. Where is this tusken ccamp you speak of, and is this where I should be killing stuff now that im novice?
Is there anywher else you guys recommend Xp'ing?
...or a novice swordsman, anyway. 0_o. When do I get the actual title of "novice fencer"? I have seen it in the search options, so I know that it's there...
Anyways, I'm just glad that I can finally call myself a fencer. Regardless of any possible limitations we might have against an enemy in motion, I still say that this is the best profession I could've joined. The Tusken hunting that got me here (121k XP in one trip is yummy) proved how indispensible a 1h user is, especially with posture changing moves. The dizzy wasn't as usefull since we had a TKA with knockdown, but the posture change + ranged weapons of the Tuskens meant that our TKA, 2h guy, and a random wookiee brawler could batter them to shreds. For the first time, I've actually been integral to a group and I wasn't even a real fencer yet. I can see how we're really good to have along with groups, since we can do massive damage to enemies. My normal 400-500 dizzy and spin attacks were hitting for up to 2.5k of damage, and I saved our medics from harm several times. I can only imagine what the Cho Sun will do now... it's also my favorite visual so far, though I bet I'll see better ones as I progress
*chuckles* And to think I was an Expert one-handed specialist just yesterday.
I have to go all the way through Footwork to get "novice fencer"? Hmph... I might as well just pick "Master Footwork", instead. Though--if I work to master footwork, then wouldn't I be able to just get master fencer by getting the apprenticeship XP? *sigh* Silly Devs...
Fort Tusken is near Mos Espa. The coords on my waypoint are 4000, -6250. Go with a group, or you'll be dead in no time. If you've got a good group that can cover you and heal you, you can pull 1k-3k XP per Tusken.
