OK so I have decided to make a fencer. what secondary skill should i go for to be effective in pvp?

I made a fencer/creature handler, it was ok, but then discovered personal guards :-p I suppose I could have 3 guards and 3 animals, but that would just be lame, so I thought I'd go ranged, then have a few troopers or even a couple at-st on my side :-p (long term goal)

Ok so I started a new guy on a different server, I am taking a long route to my end goals, by making an artisan, and then as I can make the wepons I can use, Ill work on those skills, so in the end Ill be a master bralwer-fencer, but then what?

medic?

keep my melee wepon crafting?

whats a good counerpart for fencing in pvp?

well since the fencer focuses on the health pool mainly, you may want to consider picking up a pistol to go with it

i am very pleased with my character's build so far

i have just enough ch skills to call a sludge panther, novice medic to use a stim B and had enough left over to train pistol whip and stopping shot in the pistoleer tree

yes this build is patheticlly combat oriented, but at least i am pretty **edit** hard to take down in pvp

i love charging in with a pistol only to switch to my vibro when the person least expects it

lunge/dizzy is your friend and if used correctly it should be the start of a lethal combo of attacks that will leave your opponent down and out with no chance of getting back up

on a side note, despite what others have said about not being able to attack while running after a ranged player, i have had good success with it so far

when the player realizes that a "Blademaster" is not someone who makes blades, they tend to get scared and run off with good reason

i enjoy using the burst run after these kiters, and when i get close enough the lunge attack still seems to work for me

at this point the opponent is toast, and i wack him back to the clone center

Thanks for the advice, I have been playing around with stip packs for the first time, very usefull lol I got to intermediate foot work and one ch skill, without ever using one stim pack!!!

I have one question regarding melee defence or ranged defence... If I know a way to get an extra 25 ranged and an extra 25 melee defence, master fencer and a couple pistoleer styles, is it worth it over ch? i can always do missions for a rebel or imperial pet.

do melee and ranged defence actually do anything?

also what are the pistol skills called that you got on your template? i am guessing the pistol whip is intermediate pistol specialist, but what was that other one called and which line is it?

please let me know, thanks, and your template sounds cool
