Hello, rare fencer folks. I'm on wanderhome and its so rare to run into any fencer and i havnt been able to find any fencer webpages. Im wondering if i should stick with Chitin armor is one of my questions or move on to compsite? Where is a good spot for exp for us? As a novice fancer i havnt found any decent spot to grind exp or combat exp for that matter. My wife plays a medic so any one got any good suggestions?

For an Xp grind, try to find a nonstarter planet, then a good group with a good tanking pet...you don't really want a huge group if you want to max out your xp because as you know the more damage you do the more xp you'll receive...but at the same time you don't want to end up dead every 10 minutes.

I've found that Dathomir was pretty good for xp when chaining Baz Nitches, the best groups were around 6 , two medics, a CH with a good pet, and some grunts. I basically didn't bother with special attacks and went straight for my faster sword and hit berserk when I knew the aggro was mostly on the pet.

As far as armor is concerned, that's really a matter of preference IMHO...I tend to fight a lot of nonblaster toting mobs so I stick to a cheap high quality Chitin suit of 20%+ kinetic resists, when/If I ever pvp I will probably look into composite or even a decent set of ubese which has at least kinetic/blater resist.

As far as finding a Fencing website...sometimes the best advice is experience. I started an email network, made up of Fencers I'd run into, we basically share training, vender information, ideas, etc...this is a pretty good way of getting some information out of people besides surfing the forums.

If you have a medic with you, dump the armor and go fight humanoids. KD them with Lunge/Dizzy and keep them on their backs. Only use armor if you're not using lots of specials or you're fighting critters which you can't KD.

Yes, Lunge first, then go for the dizzy right after. If you dizzy first the NPC is still gonna be able to whack you a few times before lunge. Not that its 100% garunteed to go through, but better to get em to their kneel asap and apply the dizzy afterwards. Wash rinse repeat if they get up and/or lose the dizzy

Kudos and forever RAR!

I use that combo as with a low HAM weapon (like a vibroblade)since it seems to use a lot if I do it with my Swords.

Use Lunge/Dizzy if they're attempting to run or they're chasing someone. If they're standing still or they're already prone/kneeling, Dizzy first is IMHO a better idea. If they're prone, just dizzy and open up an attack combo, they're be dead before the first blow hits. ^_^
