Ok, as a Pistoleer I am taking fencer (going quite nicely thanks) as a secondary proffession.

My question is simple. I have a pre-nerf Krayt FWG5 that seriously kicks ass. Are there any components that I can hunt for my weaponsmith that can make similar weaponry for my 1-H weapon?

If I recall correctly, Rancor teeth can be used in sword cores, but they don't affect the stats much unless they're ancient bull rancor teeth (or something like that...)

currently rancor teeth REPLACE weapon components, rather than enhancing them.

for a vibroblade, you can look for new vibro motors (Lok) to enhance the weapon.

you won't, however, see anything like that FWG5. not even another FWG5... they changed that (and the launcher pistol and scatter pistol schematics, as well).

i heard recently that rancor teath make the weapon WORSE right now...

just from what i heard from a few weaponsmiths..

"Worse" is a viewpoint. The damage will go up by a few points... but HAM costs go waaay up.

Currently, there is no melee counterpart for Krayt tissues. The melee correspondents and myself are currentlyarguing our case about this with the Devs.

I recently used a very good Ranchor Tooth to make a 2hd Curved Sword here are the stats

120-320 Dmg

Spd 3.3

50% wound

Medium Armor.

This tooth was a very rare drop.

Roi in Sun City on Tattooine has always made GREAT weapons, however with the new "Vendor Location" funtion added to the Baazzar, you should be able to find pretty much anything you need anywere in the galaxy (just be sure to select the weapon type BEFORE you go to 'enitre galaxy' LOL)

Don't know about the Sith Sword but definitely check out the galaxy-wide vendor search.

The trade forums are full of dreamers selling 280-300 ish base DPS hammers for millions. I hooked up a hammer with 300+ base DPS and +2 accuracy bonus pts. for 12K yesterday. That's right...12K.

Take your time and look at every single item for sale. You willeventually find what your looking for. Good luck.
