Thread: How are Fencer Combat Animations

Well currently I'm using the Nat'Kra crystal knife and the animations are those of TKs... Stances and moves
but then I should be glad because when I do a improved dizzy my my crystal blade I got a nice TKA animation (prolly the one of melee hit 2 pre-cu / was on 3rd or 4th tier of power technique) whereas if I used improved dizzy with a vibro-knuckler equipped I'll only do a plain dumb move... Go figure...

I don't mind the CU, have grown used to it. However what I loved about pre cu melee classes was the moves. Pikes and TK's were extremely cool.
Just played my pikeman and can we say combat animations are... Zzzzzzzzzz

right now all melee animations suck very simple. I think they removed a buch of animations b/c of the new ability to use all melee specials with any melee weapon, so now they need animations for not only fencer (if the move was blind attack) but tka, swords, and Pike b/c they can all use that special. Just a guess though. As far as improving this, the devs stated that more animations would be added.

In answer to your question, I think Fencer has the coolest special attack animations out of all the melee professions. And I should know, I've respecced into all of them to some degree since the CU. 
Watch your sword hand. You'll find yourself spinning your knife/club around whileyou fight.
