How are you guys coping with this? It seems a shame not to use some of these new (sweet-looking!) swords, but they're mission rewards. It's not like we can get more once the ones we're using get trashed.

Does the anti-decay kit keep the condition from going down from use, or does it just protect against decay from cloning?

both, the reason so many high powered weapons showed up when the ADKs came out is cause more than likely u will powerup ur weapons, and with a pup on a sliced weapon u will use 1pt of condition for every few shots, u would chew those guns up

also... weapons dont decay from cloning

I can see why weaponsmiths are upset about so many non-schematic weapons. But, on the other hand, I didn't really like looting schematics,enhancedcomponents, and other items that I have to bring to a weaponsmith.

The fact that these items are one-time only, and not always easy to trade, should work in the weaponsmiths' favor. The way these weapons lose condition, unless you use an anti-decay kit, you have to save them for special situations.

For example, I picked up my Blade of Nyenthi'oris, and as soon as I got it, I went on to look for the Xris Acid Sword. There's about 20 hunting missions in between. Going through solo, I failed particular mission about 10 times. By the time I got the Acid Sword, the Nyenthi'oris was down to 560/800.

So unless you have many ADKs lying around, you're going to want to save your good loot weapons, and rely on the best the weaponsmiths can craft.
