Weapons were changed in the conversion to use at certain levels, sadly some of the weapons had to go to the lower end so you could level with them before you master. The Gaffi was one of these for our profession, every profession was hit with this because every profession has weapons that are certed for lower level combat level. I know how you feel I had an LLC I loved pre-CU, but sadly now post-CU it does something like 550 max damage.

So if an aklay stun baton was good pre-CU, then it stands to reason that it will be good post-CU?

It will be just as good as it was Pre-CU, within the hard cap of how good a Stun Baton can get. So a weapon that was good pre-CU but was converted to a lower level Cert might not look good to you because your are too high level to use it but if you were leveling up and had that weapon to use I'm sure you would love it.

It is one of the things I didn't like with the CU because it just makes some weapons strictly for "show" but there are some awesome new Fencer weapons out there so I think we will live =).

Yeah, some of the swords from ROTW are awsome. Have picked up the sword from the first part of the Kerritamba quests. It really kicks arse

Will have to see if they bring anymore fun things in later.
