Just wondering what you guys use as a fighting strategy when taking on NPC. Last night I headed to Dantoine and took on some Rebel Generals. I'm a pNovice Pistoleer so I can bleedshot them before engaging. But after that I'm not sure what to do.

Do I dizzy them and then lunge. The bastards like to run like little babies. I have never really used warcry before. Should I be hitting that as well. Does COB have any advantage when they are running or should I only apply it when they actually stand to fight.

So what does everyone else use as a NPC method?

well for the npcs i fight you cant really land a knockdown or lunge or even a dizzy on them. In the past week iv managed to kill a 40k ham force power using npc that was given to me as a mission from an npc at the jedi temple. Also iv been killing the nightsister spiderclan npc's my usal tactic would be to use cob run in use shimm and shimm shiak straight away and then use intmidate and warcry. Then i switch to my trusty stone knife and try to get a dizzy or blind to stick if succesful i usally switch to my vibroknucklers or pistol and use either pistol whip or sleeping krayt(both knockdowns). Then what usally happens they die i think oh phew. **15 seconds later** Juddy Zerzog gets hit for 9000 damage by nightsister spiderclan elder who has 390k ham heavy armour insane accuracy 95-100% resists then i cry my way to the cloning center.

Sorry pressed enter to early,

To answer your other questions dizzy/lunge combo is extremly usful for kiting npcs. Warcry is good as it stops them attacking but not running. Center of being should be used as you will be hit less frequently althought with the current dodge animation it hinders the chasing of kiting things.

Also whenusing lunge do not use more than one after another as the npc will get up instantly( i learnt this the hard way on the nightsister that hit me for 9k damage)

Hey, Hap. Don't know how long you plan to keep pistol, but as long as you have it, I'd put down your bleeds while moving forward, and keep shooting while you close the distance. The NPCs will usually drop to one knee or go prone in response to a ranged attack.

They will usually stay that way until you are close enough to lunge, so when you get around 10 m (you'll have to experiment to get the correct timing), switch to your melee weapon, hit COB, lunge, then do whatever you like to do after that-- dizzy, etc. If you keep moving the whole time you'll be well in range when you hit the lunge, and you'll be right on top of them to land your special moves.
