what does it do?

The skill description reads something like:


"this mod increases your chance of automatically recovering from a posturedown attack"


I looked it up ingame also, because I didnt know either.

OK, I understand that D. vs. knockdown and other defenses don't work. What about combat equilibrium. Do you guys ever get right back up after getting knocked down ala CE?

not really so far, I've only found it working against Posture changes.. but not sure abuot knockdowns.. according to the SWU (Star Wars Universe) we aren't supposed to be able to knockdown so I dunno..

well kinda a bit off topic on this post but..


i was wondering why we dont have more kd and posture resistance..even a pistoleer has more kd resist than us....AND we have BALANCE skill tree....comon now....this is just retarded...even in the strategy guid it states..."teras kasi are leathal, nearly impossible to knockdown or imbalance"

The devs have already stated that the comments made in the SWU that govern TKA's, would make us too overbalanced if we were able to dodge blaster fire, impossible knockdown, etc. They are completely aware of it, but aren't going to make it a reality in this game. If you read further you'd have noticed that TKA are also supposed to be immune to certain aspects of the force, and can even detect if a person is force sensitive...also abilities clearly stated in SWU, but in no way will be implemented in this game.


As for knockdown resistance, I think i've heard that no one can even tell if what little defense there is for KD, does anything to actually help.

well then why even implement melee in a game that is governed by shooters? makes us soo..obsolete...

they seriously need to make us more KD resistant...i dont really think it would be overpowered because we do have a BALANCE line...and now with the 30second rule ther thinking about makinf KD/posture change 30 second...we can now NEVER/hardly ever win against them....makes me think the grind to master is just a waste of time...im not saying i hate this class...i loved everyminute of it...but i mean comon now....i atleast should have a chance to be as good as shooter classes when im almost to master

if u are posture downed, kded, etc, u have a better chance of recovering from it, even if u are dizzy
