The language is odd, but basically you cannot hold down one target while you beat on them, it is used to stop targets, ultimately indefinitely, while you do something else(not attack). At first glance I thought it meant a warcry on multiple targets, as no body else attacks them, but that doesnt make any sense and it does say "as long as they are not currently being attacked themselves"

this will actually make warcry better, if attacked by a number of enemies it will "deactivate"them temporarally while you take them out 1 at a time .... then again it might be totaly useless against 1 single enemy.

This is a huge nerf in PvP. Basically if they are attacking you warcry now does NOTHING!!!

I'm betting that Gabe and the rest of the brawler correspondants will be all over TH about this anyway. All hope is not lost yet.

I don't know what to say...I'm speechless. Please Gab....help us out here...warcry was an important skill in PvE...but more importantly in PvP. I wanted to write pages and pages of why this sucks..but I am honestly speechless.......

Um... no. This will only delay if they are NOT attacking you. If they already aggro'd u, its worthless.

This warcry has very marginal usage as crowd control. Examples of crowd control are AoE posture change, aoe knockdown (go pikemen!), aoe dizzy (you know who you are). A delay that is rendered useless if you attack or anyone attacks is not nearly as useful as usingthe current state warcry and take things out one at a time but quickly. When there are multiple attackers I generally use an aoe attack or intimidate them if I take more damage from the crowdthan I can deal to them.

If people use this newwarcry, then AoE attacks become a liability, not an asset.Once you use the AoE, everything is fighting you at full strength, even your primary target and the warcry has no effect.

Are these changes actually put in scenarios and evaluated? Take this warcry change, or the bleed change and describe a situation where their use would be superior to some other tactic available. If you can't describe one, chances are, it's not a good change.
