Thread: Who else wants new fencer weapons?

i know i do, swordmen, tka, rifleman, pistoleer, carbiner all have new weapons, bout time we get one!!

carbineer doesn't, i know...enhanced e11 and nym's slugthrower don't count, they are crappy.


I agree, tho, fencer needs a newweapon. my gaffi stick is worn out LOL.

A nice higher level sword would be nice. Not a giant curved blade but a slim long fast blade. Quest driven and only available at Master?


Gaffi and stun are cool and have their uses but I hate having to basically go down the cert ladder to have my Fencer use a sword.


I have a nice 2-handed grooved(bleed DoT) sword that I would love to use but its for Swordsman only. /cry. We need something a lil nicer that could be obtained from lewt or what not.

Kinda a silly question to ask though. Dont think anyone will say "No I dont want any new weapon"? Its like asking hungrey people if they want food.

I want new creative weapons, not just the standard sword or something. I know new weapons are coming but i just can't wait any longer for them. Almost every other profession has gotten 1-3 new weapons and have gotten 0.

As soon as we get a new weapon I am going to go to fort tusken and bash the hell out of those gaffi whores. (Unless of course the new bug with all NPCs using TKA isn't fixed by then)

It matters? tuskins were no problem before with their gaffis, I solo'd the entire fort/bunker np as a master fencer, even the carnage king or wahtever (the one true use for a stun baton in pve, haha)

I think I'd be satisfied with a fencer weapon that had more armor piercing, sure stun batons were fun, but who doesnt have stun layered armor.


I'd also like to see our swords do more damage than our sticks


and dual wielding /drools

Other weapon choices would certainly be nice. In particular, a higher-damage ap weapon would be appreciated. Of course it seems to me that fencer is supposed to inflict the death of a thousand cuts to an armored opponent rather than the single mortal blow. So, I am not so sure that anything too high powered is in order. It is a pity that the stun baton now has more pve than pvp application.
