i was reading this proffessions site and was enjoying myself imensly thinking ill got master fencer next for my silent holo grind and i kept coming up against something called a COB MACRO. what in the world is this. can anyone help me out pls. i would like to know what is it and what does it do.

It's a macro that loops Center of Being, which increases the amount you will dodge attacks.

It looks something like this:

Macro called COB

/ui action clearCombatQueue;

/centerOfBeing;

/pause 32; (the pause will be 1 second longer than cob duration which you can check in the skills page. 31 seconds at master, 36 if you have master bralwer as well)

/macro COB;

That's a basic COB macro but you can make a more complex series of macros to allow you to turn it on and off from one hotkey. If you're interested I'll dig it out and post it later.

actually Ratt i believe what you posted to be the best COB macro. i use it and to start it up all you have to do is type /m cob and it starts. when your done with it type /dump and viola, it stops

very simple to do and it doesnt take up any of your toolbar slots.

i like:

/peace

/pause 33 (/pause 37 if you are master brawler)
/ui action toolbarXX

why do i do /peace?

simple, CoB works much like the way /healdamage does.. it has to have its turn on the combat window thingy.. so if you are spamming attacks on someone mid-pvp.. you would have to wait until that person is dead basically for CoB to kick in.. and if it wears off at beginning of fight its not very fun. so if you do the /peace it always work and its the only 100% sure way to always have CoB on you at all times. hope that helps.

After assigning all these macros, type "/alias ToggleCoB /macro COBOn" and then drag the COB macro to your toolbar. The first time you press it it will turn your CoB loop on, the second time you press it it'll turn the CoB loop off. I've got the same sort of toggle set up for my armor—makes life so much easier.

I personally put the pause at 32, since Blademasters have a COB duration of 31 sec. With master brawler I would suggest 36.
