Soloed a Giant Dune Kimogila this morning. Using only fencer(thats all I have right now). Mission 1 accomplished.

I am Master Armorsmith too, so I was wondering if I could solo those feriuous animals alone. Now I have hope, unless you have an uber-gaffi-some-sort-weapon

I myself stuck to attacking the health. Health Bleeds and Health attacks. Actually used a Vibro Blade on this sucker hehe 261max VB. You have to have some nice armor 80%kinetic 80%+base. Well goodluck man. What server you play on?

I have done this as well with a 155-232 gaffi. I also attacked health bar. As I remember I had to use a few stim b's so it wasn't cakewalk and it took a long time to finally drop it.

I have spotted two south on Lok. While searching for GDKs take out every Gurk lair you can find. You will find A LOT off those Gurk Lairs to the south too. Many off these camps spawn a gurk king and maybe even some loot. Easy 500K+ XP on one buff while searching for the GDKs.

Giant dune kimos spawn all over Lok, but mostly are concentrated around the volcano to the South of lok. 1 GDK also spawns at Kimogila Town (a poi) every 1 hour and 5 minutes.

Use a stun baton because they are vuln to stun and you will get diseased.

hm... ive never tried to take one solo. My temp is master fencer, novice doc right now, working on doc 4440 and FS skills.

I cant seem to find myself a good stun baton, ive got an acklay right now that is 284 max pup'd (16% max damage pup)

i would probably be better off using my gaffi, have two of them, one is 295 max unpup'd, other is 297 max unpup'd.

Ive also got a health fire vibro blade, would be great to add with health bleed 1 and 2, make the thing drop quicker. If you have the points, doc is great to pick up for both healing and curing DOT's and states, i originally picked it up to cure dizzy in pvp.

I'll have to take a trip to lok and try to solo one of these tonight =)

I've founf the hatdest thing about GDKs is they have a really nasty disease, but of course you can't have more wounds than your unbuffed HAM which helps.
