I don't like haveing to get template threads locked, it takes up Gold Team members time when they should be looking out for more important forum abuses... but I will continue as long as I keep seeing template threads other than the ones stickied at the top of the page.
They are there and they cover every single possible Primary Fencer Template type.
Just so you are all aware, as I told you all before, Durring the Correspondent Summit Garva personally told me that each and every template thread that is outside the Stickied ones will be locked upon being reported. He was well aware of just how crazy this forum had become.
We've had alot of good conversations in here, and Raphayl would be proud of that. Let's keep them going, and keep the template threads in their appropriate place.
Thank you.

Hell im going to get flamed so bad here so please excuse my ignorence, but who is raphayl? i have heard a lot about memorials etc, but having not used the fencer forum until recently have no idea of the story. I have done a small search, but if anyone would like to link me to a thread that would be cool.
Again, appologies if i have missed something here

She was the fencer correspondant Eventually a blue glowie), and well liked. Sadly, she died in a tragic automobile accident... thread here.

Short version:
Raphayl was the fencer correspondent for several months after launch, and she wasone of the best correspondents this game has ever seen. Unfortunately, she was killed in a car accident a couple months after stepping down as correspondent. The devs have promised that in memorial, we'll eventually see a one-handed weapon bearing her name.
I'm sure someone else will drop in with the long version...
She is still sorely missed by many of us.

(EDIT: Thanks for the link, Rimy - you're quicker than I am)

I think I would have flamed you if you didn't ask. ![]()
Never be afraid to ask questions here, as I see us a pretty cool group, and folks are quick to offer help. As previously said, she is a former Fencer Corrospondent who laid a lot of groundwork for Fencers, and FC's after her have all contributed to her work, as well as adding their own "flavor" to the mix.
She's missed, believe me...not as a FC, but in real life. She was a cool person who took the time to talk to you, but for those of us who knew her, we know she's in a better place. ![]()

Aye, Raphayl replaced me as Fencer Correspondent in September of 03' and her data and parseing tests on TC is the reason we know as much as we do about the combat system of SWG. She's why we know what relationship the Speed modifier has with weapon speed. And she went above and beyond in helping Fencers be the best we can be and was nothing but polite and kind in how she guided us.
She stepped down to allow Fury_Chaser to take the reigns of the Correspondent position around January of 04. And while Fury was at the helm he recieved word of her passing, leaveing behind a wonderfull son William. And yes she was missed by many for the very simple but important reason that she was a friend to everyone.
She was the perfect example of how even an online presence can have a positive impact on those around her.
