Thread: Wookie fencer?
Can wookie fencers be any good? you would think that wookies would be best at meele classes but no.....cant sue armor so I suck, im already master doc so that will help butif i go fencer should i expect to suck at taking damage as a wookie?
also, what are good fencer HAMs for a wookie? (remember i can self buff)

Yep, wookies get the shaft. I for one will be deleting my wookie as soon as I unlock my FSCS. Pikeman wasn't such a bad grind because i have MCH to back me up so my pets can tank for me. Fencer right after pikeman was sort of depressing, mainly because i'm just incredibly tired of the melee grind, but none the less, it will be the same grind.
It is my opinion, that they need to do something about wookies lack of armor, as i'm sure just about every wookie agrees. I would say, at a minimum give wookies a natural armor rating of AR1, possibly some resists on top of that, say maybe 10-20% to several resists with some vulnerability to others (Fire for instance?). This would bring us in line with armor wearers to a degree. We would still not be able to take as much damage, but we would also have the advantage of not having to maintain our armor.
As is... the system is unfair. When the game first came out wookies were the uber race simply because bone armor was all that was available, and it was completely gimped. Now... the tables have turned, 80% resist composite armor is making the wookie race puny and weak in comparison to all others, which is not how i imagined my character when i created a ferocious wookie.
