Thread: creature kd tip

since creatures shrug off dizzy kd so fast, i gave up trying to kd them. recently however i figured out a nice little combo. use /warcry (warcry2 works a ton better) to freeze your target. then kd. they won't try to stand until the warcry wears off. (or if they do try they are unable to). Using this technique i can pretty much kill most creatures by the time they stand up. if they do stand up, it's a very short amount of time before you can repeat the process.

yeah exaclty remeber kd have a 30 sec timer and warcry 2 has a 20 sec duration and a 30 sec timer, therefor i would do a warcry 2 and a lunge that frezzes the victum in a knell for 20 seconds then after they get up you can apply a kd to them by the time they get up you can do warcry and lunge again. BTW this is a great combo for any melee profetion that has master Brawler

two things to note


1) for any X tks out there they might remember when KD used twice would nulify the KD. Basicly how it was set up is if you knock something down, and while you had it knocked down, and used knock down again, they would rise, skiping the 5 second KD timer copletely. They fixed this, but they did not fix this for lunge at all.


Using two lunges back to back seems to nulfiy the lunge, PVE im talking about.



2) you dont need to warcry after a sucessfull lunge, but simple warcry and the target it delayed for 10 or 20 seconds. So if you lunge or KD them while they are in the state of warcry, they will be paused in that position until warcry is off.



that way say if you are fighting a player and using the bleed trick warcry so they can't heal, you can then lunge them while they are still warcryed and have it keep them there for a while as well.


this works pve too.

there is no benefit to trying to dizzy anything in this game that doesn't have pockets

fencer is fun for so many more reasons that just "stun damage" dark.
