I've never done a melee profession before, so this is new territory for me. I got Fencer for my seocnd Holocorn, so here I am... completely unaware of how to efficiently grind exp.
I have NO Fencer skills yet, just Novice. I'd like some advice on not only what skills to get first, but where and how to level them the fastest.
Thanks in advance.

Welcome aboard GFJ!
Just browse the board a bit. This is an extreme common discussion, so you should be able to find something pretty easily.

I've been looking quite a bit... I've found many good "pieces" of information that I could probably put together... but I was kinda hopin' someone who's had great success powergrinding this profession might show up and tell me (pretty much exactly) what he/she did.

ok ill lay it out for you, what i did to master in more or less 2 weeks of moderate grinding
the toughoust grind of the profession i believe is getting to footwork 2, what you need to do is get a good speed sliced curved sword, become real friendly with a master doc who uses good buff packs and skill enhanced clothing, a mind buff and some correlian fried ice cream wouldnt hurt either, since curved swords have killer mind cost
go to dantoine and solo huurtons or huurton howlers, continue this until you get to footwork 2, then youll probably opt for a good speed sliced gaffi, since the mind HAM cost wont drain you instantly, from here i would do the same thing until you get to techniques three and can use body hit 3, now youll probably be able to move up to huurton huntreses which give a lot more xp, take these till you get to footwork 4, then youll be maxed on speed, from here if you maintain the same buff and food strategies you should be able to get the rest of the skills in several days, remember as it took me weeks, it could take you days since part of my time was spent just figuring this out
ok then the big desicion is whether or not to keep blademaster, and i urge that you would since were powerful but not too powerful, the community is relatively small, and you wont have to be worried about being 1/10000 BHs Commandos or TKs, and our correspendent rocks
hope this helps
