I went to Lord Nyax's hideout and took all but him out. I noticed that I had looted a sword, damage 30-70, with all the other typical crappy stats. Just before putting it on the market I noticed it was charged with 1000 DOT, 5 health. Does anyone know exactly what effect this would have in battle? If it will give me a bonus 5 point bleed, that's not going to help unless i'm struggling to kill gubbers.

looks like any curved sword, like the cheap ones you get off a meatlump or the ones noobs put on the bazaar for 3k that have max damage of 5.

But the thing that I learned to check for was the stats below HAM costs. A few times I've gotten DOT weapons and the default size of the preview window forces you to scroll down to see any special attributes that otherwise you'd miss.

I don't have the exact wording, but it was something to effect of:
Health Hit 5
Uses Left 1000

The thing I also noticed was that when the weapon is named, it usually has some sort of special property. Like this was a "Nyax Curved Sword" instead of just "Curved Sword". I got a "Rogue CorSec CDEF pistol" once that had a DOT bleed on it, but I gave it to a ranged weapon friend.
