Thread: Question on Bleeds
Im sure this has been asked a few times, but I was just wondering:
1.Does the potency of bleeds increase if applied multiple times?
2.Do HealthShot2(Pistoleer) and HealthHit2(Fencer)stack?

One thing I'm not sure about however is what happens when you do apply multiple bleeds with the same weapon, *I think* your highest damaging one may stick...
Secret Order,
Dantooine,
Eclipse
last night i was noticing that my bleeds aren't landing for as much any more. now this may be because when i'm bleeding, i'm just tanking for friends. but they were doing probably 60% of their normal damage.
before anyone freaks out: this is a very casual observation, and i didn't have time to actually test it. plus, i might just be crazy. i'll double check my lying eyes when i get home tonight. just wondering if anyone could immediately confirm or dismiss this crazy crazy mirage.
what my first thought was (please don't laugh) was that armor was now affecting bleed strength. it's driving me nuts right now, because i KNOW someone else would have noticed this. so i can't figure out if i was hallucinating a Shiim Shiak hitting for 600 at the most when i always hit for 1400 before.
this'll be the first thing i test tonight when i get home. then we can all laugh when it turns out i'm just insane.

Nothing was mentioned about this, and the Devs have been on vacation. I'll still check on it though.
Something you may want to check out though. I have accidentally messed up my Macro buttons before (unintentionally dragged one on top of another). If your weapon was regularly doing 1400 bleeds with Shiim Shiak, then 600 would be right about what you should expect from Shiim. Is it remotely possible they got switched around?
Yes, check the condition of your weapon. Once it falls below a certain condition level your damage output drops significantly. I use bleeds a lot and have noticed no change in damage output.
Isis
Condition of weapon
Battle fatigue
Intimidate state (though I'm assuming you weren't somehow intimidated for 200 consecutive bleeds).
All of those can cause you to do less damage. The thing to check next time you notice low bleed damage is whether or not your regular damage or damage from other specials is low as well.
Freesun, i think you hit it. i had little battle fatigue because i don't get hit very often. i was fighting Bolmas almost exclusively. they intimidate, and i was usually tanking three or so at a time, so i was almost constantly intimidated. i was doing most of my checking AFTER the battle, so intimidation didn't occur to me. that must have been it.
it was just one of those things i noticed out of the corner of my eye, really. the numbers in the spam looked low, but i didn't actually run any checks. turns out i wasn't crazy, i was just not thorough. it happens.
oddly enough, last night we were Krayt hunting. and i did notice some of my bleeds were getting low, and some were getting normal numbers. but then i was getting normal numbers when i wasn't the one (attempting to) tank him. 300k HAM makes for a very rough fight. even when you are only taking hits 10 out of every 30 seconds and at half damage, they can be rough.
