Thread: Dodge it stacks, i have proof

My template last night read this:
Master Gunfighter, Rogue and 4-4-0-0 brawler


with that i have +105 Dodge (Gunfighter) and i dueled my TKA friend.. i was dodging like a mad man, like more into the 40-50% but its prolly his low accuretcy but still if its supposed to only work while weilding a Pistol or a Onehanded Weapon then yes it has to stack cause if they changed it to weapon specific then no i wouldn't not dodge so often.


I now am 0-0-2-3 and can tell the dodge difference form having just gunfighter so yes it does stack.

right... tell that to all the used to be master fencer/pistoleers out there that used to be invicible and how are not. I dont know what they did, (Maybe they put a cap on it) but its not like it used to be.

You keep throwing these numbers at us. I used to be a master pistoleer, master fencer and knew for sure it stacked. Even after the "the nerf" with cob I could go 30 attacks without getting hit in pvp. Holding a pistol I could easily dodge more than 50% of what shot at me. I dropped it for awhile and am doing it again. Now everyone says it doesn't stack. Well I have 15 dodge from fencer and am pistol 3. Until I got that 15 dodge from fencer, with a pistol I never dodged.

They may of changed something, but dodge does stack somehow. Most likely its just a cap, say 150... which I agree is the smart way to go about it. Its also very possible that they broke it and we are seeing mixed results because of that. I also think some people don't understand how dodge works. I agree with Raph about the accuracy jump screwing with peoples minds, and I also see a lot of "I tested this against my TKM friend" when they have insane accuracy mods. Even when dodged stacked, I didn't evade them all the time.

i believe it still stacks, they just might have put a cap on it.

I agree that the debate should end.

With that being said, something indeed happened to the stacking of dodge.

I am a Master Smuggler/Master Fencer/Novice Pistoleer

before the update, I leveled in Smuggler rather quickly. I had my pistol out and the MOBS couldn't hit me.

after the update ...currently, I get hit more frequently (when carrying a pistol) by NPC/PC alike.

Thing is none of us really knows for sure...we can only speculate and assume.

oh, and when I say invincible i mean in PvP. I know about the mobs getting the accuracy increase and understand that. But unless every PC got a stealth accuracy increase, I think that either the dodge mod doesnt stack, or they did something smart and put a cap on it instead of nerfing it to hell.

I am a mMaster Pistoleer and 0001 fencer. While holding a one-handed weapon, I 'seem' to dodge about the same amount as with having a pistol equipped.

I think I'm starting to believe in the cap thing.

I think it's obvious that they still indeed work for the other profession..


After all there isn't a Pistol Dodge and a Fencing dodge but just Dodge.



They probably capped it at 105.


I happen to be a Master Fencer who is holo chasing pistoleer.


I dodged Huurtons at same rate with a pistol as I dodged them before with fencing wep. This was at even the lowest pistol box in marksman.

I can confirm this....With only pistol 4 i dodge the same as if i had my sword equip.. Now im novice pistoleer and the **edit** is insane sometimes... I don't know about no numbers or nothing but i don't think im suppose to dodge that much if it didnt stack... The most reasonable answer to this is they capped it at like 150 or something... That is my guess..

i agree with what most people are saying, that it wasnt completely nerfed but there was a cap of sorts put on it, although it would be very nice to know what that is /nudge /wink devs

i dont so much mind nerfs, but stealth nerfs really piss me off, we have to know whats going on!
