Thread: Melee Defence Mods How do they work?!

So say i got about +60 Melee Defence Mods from fencer/pistoleer, how does it work and what does it mean?
+60 = 6% kinetic protection or something?
Someone please explain this!

I think your melee defense is subtracted off of your opponents melee accuracy.

The more melee defense you have, the more your opponent misses you if their wielding a melee weapon(not dodge, counter attack, or block) the more ranged defense you have, the more your opponent misses you if their wielding a ranged weapon.
You only really notice this when you have like +90 or higher melee defense. Some guy on my server has atemplate with +165 melee defense and a Krayt dragon misses him like 8 out of every 10 attacks.
