I trained this profession after I mastered Pistoleer cause they both do health dmg and have very good defenses. I never imagined how fun this profession is and it truely is my favorite so far.

I was a 3/4/4/4 BH and dropped it as BH is just not any good, and no player bounties which is what I wanted most out of being a BH. I mastered Pistoleer as it was my favorite BH weapon as carbines were really broken and still are in my opinion.

My holo told me carbineer after I dropped all my bounty hunter and I made it to 3/3/1/3 before saying forget jedi it's all grinding and I hate to grind.

So I dropped carbines for a melee profession and decided on fencer over TKM being my second choice. I chose fencer over TKM for few reasons Stun Baton being the main deciding factor for the stun dmg in pvp as most wear composite armor.

From what I have seen Fencer and TKM are two of the few working professions. Pistoleer has many broken specials but still not too bad when mixed with BH or smuggler.

I may decide to drop fencer temporarily to finally master carbine and grind out my jedi slot just to get it unlocked. I don't want to drop it as I love it the most out of all my other skills. I know if I do drop it though I will most likely get it back when I'm done.

For anyone considering fencer go for it, you will have fun I'm sure as I have. If your looking for an uber skill for pvp, fencer is good but there are more powerful professions out there, don't waste your time in fencer if your lookin to be uber.

But that's how fencers should be: fast and agile, tough to hit, but taunting their opponent with quick little jabs. IMO at least. Some would say that the best defense is a good offense, but I would say just the opposite: the best offense is a good defense. Think about it ... the numbers may be small, but they add up eventually. Whoever has the least numbers over their head usually wins.
