So basically I created this thread just to get all you Fencers experienced in PVP some of your tactics that make us Fencer so great I did some experimenting myself for a PVP Hotbar or maybe even a macro and it seemed to be an alright setup.

Was something like Warcry, Blind, Dizzy, Lunge, Body hit 3

Then further down the bar melee hit 3, scatter 2, intimidate, cob etc...

I really cant remember all of it but it had all of the basic attacks in the fencers aresenal + stuff like stunbaton on there, muon just in case etc.

Other then your hotbar just general tactics what to dodiff againstvs ranged classes than melee, what to do in large PVP brawls and what to do in 1v1 duels

Maybe Some Stat migrationsor something to that affect also might help.

All help is appreciated, Thanks in Advance

Tricks for pvping

One. dont use macros hot key each move you plan to use. This allows you to adept if the situation demands its

Two. know your moves inside and out Know what it does what it cost when to use when not too.

Three. Know your weapons. know the difference between them and their weaknesses

Four. Review data after each fight by going back through combat logs. You cansee how the enemy reacted to you and what moves they lean toward.

Five. Dont rely on others expriences. Everyones got their own style of play. if you just follow what others are doing you will never get ahead. Think for yourself and the answers will come to you.

My method may take time but it makes you a better player and gives you a better understanding of the profession.

Unlike many other professions, with fencer, it is very unwise to use a macro.

I personally am Master Fencer, Teris Kasi Master and Master Brawler and from my experience in PvP, which i do every day, i have basically come up with my "routine"

first, if the opponent has got some good skills i Warcry 2 them.

After that, i usually put an intimidate 2 and dizzy

then i put down the 15m kd also called lunge 2 until they get knocked down.

Now, if they are wearing armor, i just try a few hits with the good ol' VK's, and if theya re doing nothing (hence kinetic specail layer), then i switch to my stun baton and hit them with 1HH3.

Usually that works for me unless they have some good defenses.

And that is ALWAYS with CoB going...ALWAYS

and a few heals in between if not buffed

and always some mind food and maybe a muon for a tka

for groups, just keep the CoB going and eliminate the commandos and riflemen first. From then on it is open range for me =).

Cool, that's my same build. I'd have to add that to PvP with fencer, you are really going to need master brawler to be a force. Also, warcry and intimidate are not useful in PvP unless buffed, otherwise you drain too many hps and most times end up making yourself easier to kill. I still wish that stun baton were AP1, especially considering the jawa is.

i disagree soooo much with the dont use macros in fencer....that is what i use 75% of all pvp and most r dead at the end of it(hehe it ends with a db)...just dont over do it with a encumberence monster of a weapon

i run one quick macro at the start

intimidate2--seems that the next ones stick better if opponent is intmidated

lunge2---gets them down

warcry2--delays them 20 hopefully down

health2---to get a bleed if anything

COB--just in case they have good resists and nothing sticks i will atleast start dodging there attacks til i can get something to stick

this one simple macro if all sticks has them on the ground for 20 seconds bleeding while i pummel them. Never have timed it but those 5 seem to take 3 to 4 seconds tops. At this point I check what didn't stick and start hitting hot keys to get what effect I need. Also another nice trick for those ranged guys that kite you, I have follow and burstrun in my hotkeys. Just target the guy hit follow-burstrun I am on his arse in a sec and he cant shake me. Since you are not having to stear the mouse after him you can just kick back and hit your specials and be more aware of your health or mind if its riifleman. If you decide to use the follow itonly works if you are grouped. So what if i am solo,I still have my old mount kaaduI group it tell it to stay now I am grouped and can use follow. If someone shoots your mount kaadu who cares.

Fully buffed i whack this macro on as soon as i get a sniff of a fight.

Name it COB

/centreofbeing;

/pause 31 (varies but this seems to work the best)

/macro COB;

Means i never forget to put it on and means they can't hit me, works well if the warcry and try to hit you but if they land intimidate you're fooked.

Also carry something other than a fencer weapons and then at the last minute change it too you weapon of choice, not many ppl have time to check your bio so don't know what to expect.

AND.. warcry does not work the way u say it does.. you have to land a hit in order to warcry. ive tried many times to warcry. ive clicked and clicked never worked.. i cho suned the person and boom warcry came in.

A good idea is to just macro the first bit like someone said before. I always COB and then warcry first, just in case the other person has master brawler as well. Just COB, Warcry2, Intimidate2, Lunge2, dizzy, blind, and then redo the ones you missed.

If I dont have buffs, I usually use my vibro-blade for the first attacks (was less HAM drain) and then switch to the gaffi or stun baton. Make sure to heal every once in a while, or you'll find yourself out cold fairly quick.
