Hiya guys, I just dropped commando for fencer. While im leveling i would like to ask some questions.

1) What is good weapon for PvE?
2) Is master brawler worth it?
3) Good places to level?
4) Any special tactics?
5) I was thinking about going straight 4/0/0/0 first for the defense is that a good idea?

Thanks guys, Of and if you wanted to know why i switched (im sure you dont but im in a sharing mood). I picked up fencer to protect my dr. friends while we are hunting. I heard fencers are the best tanks. Thanks guys.

PvE Weapon, alot of people like the swords untill Master Footwork then switch to a Gaffi. Personally i used a gaffi all the way through when fighting PvE (unless it has light armor then i'll bust out the VibroBlade)

Brawler is worth it if your going to forsee yourself doing some PvP and if you find yourself using CoB often. The defense bonus is somewhat worth it but if you have buffs and some good 70%+ Kinetic resist armor the you don't need tow orry about it.

Anyone around can tell you the best place is Dantooine and killing Huurtons. Personally i like the Voritors, Pikets, and Bolle Bol's (bolle's are on naboo). Make sure your buffed and have muon with you too.

Get Footwork first, the whole tree, then once you do that go up the Stances & Grips tree. By this time you should have alot of combat xp built up in that tree and you can do Techniques last would be my suggestion.

Hope you enjoy fencer as much as the rest of us!

Lots of people recommend going up the gripsbranch second, and that very well may be the best route to take, but I personally am taking the techniques branch second because of the dodge modifiers (I'm only at Techniques 2 and it's already funny to watch how many times they miss in the combat tab) and Body Hit 3.

As far as missions... I started on Dant doing lesser plains bols. Nice starter creatures because they don't DB and aren't social. Then I went up to Hurrtons. Then savage quenkers. I read a post in this forum talking about baz nitches on Dath so I decided to give them a try & I'm sold. Right now I'm doing mutant baz nitches. ~3-3.5k XP per kill. Lair is ~3.5-4k XP. You usually get 6 per lair, so that's ~21.5 - 25k XP per lair.. not bad. Plus missions pay ~8.5 k credits. I do get buffs and wear Ubese or Composite, depending on my mood.

There was a point in my progression where my stun baton was doing more damage on the hurrtons & quenkers, but lately I pretty much exclusively use a gaffi.
