Thread: Finally Made the grade

I picked up Fencer from a holo a little over a month ago, and wasnt very happy about having to give up Master Commando. One of the first things I did was come to the forum to research it a bit, and prepare to grind it out as fast as possible. What I found in addition to the information I wanted was a thriving and VERY tightknit community that supported each other like you wouldnt beleive. I've never seen such a bond between people before in an online game. There were always people there to give advice, very very few quarrels that Iwas aware of(although there were some outspoken individuals Kali 
), and an unusually high number of people that were just downright inspiring!
), and an unusually high number of people that were just downright inspiring!I sincerely hope to once againsee this community the way it was before Raph left, as i'm sure there will be people following in my footsteps that will need the same kind of inspiration that I needed. Instead of grinding through it I actually tookthe time to enjoy the proffesion, (and it is enjoyable!) and ended up with a character that will remain a Fencer regardless of what the future has in store for it.
To make a long story short, last nite I finally gained the priveledge of wearing the title Blademaster, and would like to thank those of you who helped push me along those few hours everynite. I can only hope to excell in this profession the way some of you do (or claim to LOL). If any of you every decide to come to Corbantis, look me up, and i'll buy you a Fishak Suprise in the local pub!

Fantastic, Cad! I glad you actually enjoyed this great profession and had a change of heart. Don't be surprised if you are challenged more often then before. You are the yardstick by which toughness is measured in SWG. This is the reason will receive certain challenges. Be prepared. Congratulations!

Btw, you have noticed I am on Corbantis also, usually on Dantooine. See you around.

Congratulations Cad 
I also started off as a holo fencer but I'm really enjoying it and will do my best to keep it despite what the next holo might say. I'm currently 1/4/2/2 and still enjoying every battle. I'vegot most of my exp on Endor but I've been thinking of moving upto pikets and quenkers on Dant so as I'm on Corbantis too I may well see you there.
