Thread: Is footwork I still the best thing to do first after patch 6?

Bofore the patch everyone told me to go up footwork I for the huge bleeds and such. But now after our bleeds have been raped, is it better to go up a different route?

i would go at least up to footwork 3 before doing anything else in Fencer, then I would either work up the defense tree, followed by dodge, then footwork 4

I agree but I would go ahead and finish off footwork 4 first for the speed before moving on. You can never have too much speed in this game.

Footwork IV is the way to go...most of my way up the footwork line, I was cursing at the slowness of my gaffi stick

FURY_chaser really hit it here, though i would recommend finishing footwork 4 as well. Speed is king, it allows you to go on and take that DMG sliced gaffi vs. that SPD sliced one, once you hit Footwork 4 you'll be doing 2 hits for most peoples 1 and thats a great thing.

I never used the bleeds on my way up fencer, i went up footwork for the spd, and its the best thing to do once a gaffi stick is worth using nothing can stop you*.
* by nothing i mean quite alot, but you have a better chance.
